Presented by Paradise Grills, the Kids Beating Cancer Hats & Heroes Ball hosts “Welcome to the 60’s” on October 5th, 2024 at the Waldorf Astoria Orlando.

Featuring the high-octane Tony Award winning original cast of the high-profile Broadway show Jersey Boys. Along with the New York-based phenomenally talented soul singer, songwriter, and Broadway actress Morgan James. The production of national acclaimed talent, along with a full cast of singers and dancers will bring you back in time to the early 60’s when music launched a new sound. Get ready for the British Invasion with the sound of the Beatles, the surfin rock sound of The Beach Boys, the Motown sound of The Supremes, Martha and the Vandellas, The Chiffons, and the jazz pop grammy sounds of Bobby Darin.  “Oh, what a night,” with the best-selling musical group of all time, Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons are just some of the performances of the evening that will make you want to go “Dancing in the streets!” 

Voted Best Charity Gala in Orlando for seven years in a row, this award-winning dynamic Gala evening featuring an explosion of nationally acclaimed performances with a 27-piece orchestra, conducted by the extraordinary music producer, composer, and lyricist, Michael Andrew. The two-time Emmy nominated creative producer, television producer, entertainment consultant, and staging director, Chally Rowjohn with bring you back to the high energy musical sensation of the early 60’s. The evening includes gourmet cuisine with open bar, exquisite silent and live auctions, and the outstanding Community Leadership and national Pediatric Oncology Healing Heroes of Excellence Awards. Celebrating the children, the true heroes of the evening with the “Walk of Heroes” and the emotional moment when a bone marrow transplant child mets for the very first time on stage, the anonymous donor who gave them the gift of life!

Kids Beating Cancer is looking to the day when we end childhood cancer as we advance scientific knowledge towards a cure, while putting the children first!
