Talk of the Town Restaurant Group, their patrons, and friends of Kids Beating Cancer raised a record-breaking $93,586 for Kids Beating Cancer during their March Round Up for Charity Campaign.  All of the Talk of the Town restaurants participated in the “Round Up for Charity” program, asking their guests to round up their checks to support Kids Beating Cancer for the fourth year.

Talk of the Town Restaurant Group was founded in 1974 by the father and son team of Charley and Ron Woodsby and has been a great supporter of Kids Beating Cancer for several years. Talk of the Town now encompasses several restaurants in Central Florida, including Charley’s Steak House in Orlando, Celebration and Tamba, FishBones Lake Mary, Texas Cattle Company and Vito’s Chop House. For over 40 years the Woodsby’s have been personally generous to local charities and decided to take it a step further in 2017 by establishing the Talk of the Town Restaurant Group Foundation.  All of the costs of running the foundation are paid for by the Woodsby family so that 100% of the money collected goes directly to the charity.
